This week we will share the information we gleaned from reading our individual chapters on the First Americans. From there we will embark on the First Americans Project. You will receive detailed info and guidelines for this project, so breathe easy. It will all be explained in due time.

We will also begin our next Wordly Wise lesson (2) and review the elements of a story in preparation of your Book Brags due on Friday.



Monday - September 20

  • Jigsaw - share individual chapter info and fill in our charts. You will have a complete chart by the end of class and a better understanding of the 6 regions we are covering.

Tuesday - September 21

  • Wordly Wise - Lesson 2 intro: Ex. A/B begun in class, due Thursday 9/23
  • Story Analysis - We will look at the elements of a story in preparation for your Book Brags on Friday

Wednesday - September 22

  • Introduction of the First Americans Project - this is the major focus of the next month and much of our work will be completed in class.
