1)    Girl/Boy projects completed and presented in class
2)    DIscuss Toys R us; hand in journal write-ups
3)    Discuss Yellow Wallpaper and assign paper
4)    Start YW essay and complete the women's suffrage worksheet (both sides)

Tuesday 9/13
1)    YW paper due in rough draft form
2)    Discussion of YW  and suffrage worksheet
3)     Homework: Polish your YW paper and read Chapters 1 -3 in bell hooks' book, Feminism is for Everybody Pages 1 - 18)

Thursday 9/15:
1) Final draft of YW paper due
2) Not for Ourselves video in clas
3) Lecture notes on Modern feminist movement
4) Discuss bell hooks book
2) Homework:  Oral history project assigned, read  Chapters 4 -- 11 in hooks (19-66)
