4) Start YW essay and complete the women's suffrage worksheet (both sides)

2) Discussion of YW and suffrage worksheet
3) Homework: Polish your YW paper and read Chapters 1 -3 in bell hooks' book, Feminism is for Everybody Pages 1 - 18)

3) Lecture notes on Modern feminist movement
4) Discuss bell hooks book
2) Homework: Oral history project assigned, read Chapters 4 -- 11 in hooks (19-66)
