French Grade 4

French Grade 4 is off to a great start! This year students are using the textbook series Discovering French Bleu 1A along with the corresponding workbook. Students are learning how to use these materials as well as taking notes, making flashcards (and how to use them), listening comprehension activities, role play scenarios,  and learning to write simple sentences in French. We have been focusing on the following themes: introductions, greetings, asking simple questions, nationalities, and numbers 0-100. I encourage students to practice their vocabulary and numbers with their flashcards. We have have had several lessons on how to maximize usage of the flashcards to really learn the vocabulary words and numbers.
