Continuation of Terrorism Discussion
Since this discussion seemed to engage many of you, I thought I would continue it on my blog. Here are some questions to consider:
1. Can terrorism be defined?
2. Do we need to be able to define terrorism?
3. Can the United States win the war on terrorism?
4. Given your answer to number three, should the United States continue its war on terrorism?
5. Aside from using military force, are there other ways to fight a war on terrorism?

Rwanda
Today we had two rather heated discussions about U.S. involvement, or lack of involvement in Rwanda. We can use this blog to continue that discussion. Respond to any or all of the following questions.
1. Was the United States negligent in its handling of the genocide in Rwanda?
2. Was the United Nations negligent in its handling of the genocide in Rwanda?
3. Could the United States have done anything to stop the genocide in Rwanda?
4. Should the United States do something to stop the potential (or ongoing) genocide in Sudan?

Discussion: What do you think of PDD 25?
Today we discussed Presidential Decision Directive 25. Do you think this is a good policy? Why or why not? How involved should the United States be in peacekeeping operations?
