Snack Info.
Snacks
Due to the late lunch schedule for lower school students, I would like to provide the opportunity for students to have a nutritious snack in the morning, if they wish.
Recommended small, nutritious snacks...
- Fresh fruit or fresh vegetables
- An applesauce cup (please send a spoon)
- A muffin, bagel, banana bread, half a sandwich
- Plain crackers (no spreading of cheese, peanut butter, etc...)
- Raisins or pretzels
- Trail mix
- Healthy cereal
- A water bottle
Snacks not preferred for the classroom...
- No popcorn
- No Gogurt
- No Fruit Roll-Ups, Fruit by the Foot, cookies, cake, chips or candy
- No beverages (other than a water bottle)
Water bottle request...
To help our spills stay to a minimum, please send a water bottle that is...
- Easy to open/close
- A pop or flip top (rather than an unscrew type cap)
You can also make our snack time proceed more efficiently if you remember to pack a napkin with your child's snack.
