The Action Continues! 1-23 to 1-27

This week students will be selecting a mealworm problem to solve in lab. Not only do they come up with their own problem but they are also responsible to write a procedure and then carry out their experiment. An example would be to determine if mealworms prefer a lighted area, a darkened area or something in between.

Energy saving tip:
Dim your room lights and look five years younger.

Mealworms Are Here! 01-09 to 01-13

Tuesday the Disease Short Stories are due. These are 500 word minimum and tell the story of the pathogen selected and the disease that results. Some class time has been spend gathering information.

The students will also be running three separate mealworm labs (this started last week) with each lab having the students becoming more and more responsible for designing and conducting the lab.
