Independent Assignments - Overview

This is an an overview of the independent assignments that you will complete over the course of the semester. Specific information for each of the eight assignments can be found on the "page" found on the right side of the course blog. None of these are designed to take you much more than 2 hours to do. However, some of you may want to go a little further or beyond the basic requirements.

I tried letting people do the assignments in whatever order they liked last time, but that was a mess. Instead, I'm putting the assignments that may require additional time for preparation, etc. later in the sequence.

INDEPENDENT ASSIGNMENT DUE DATES:  You should have posted your blog comment on the given assignment before class time on the due date.  (I won't accept assignments worked in during class on the due dates.  If it is not in on time, it will be deducted 10% per class session, beginning that first day.)

You may do ONE additional Independent Assignment for extra credit if you would like. You may choose to do "Talk About It" OR you may do the choice from "Watching It OR Read About It" that you did not previously do.
