7th/8th grade Spanish Trip to Yucatan

Parents/guardians, and students:
We will be having a YUCATAN meeting on Tuesday, September 18th at 6:30pm in room 155.
The topics to be covered are:
1) schedule
2) medical information
3) packing
4) forms to fill out for Rainforest and Reef
5) airport meeting time and flight info
6) phone tree list in case of emergencies in the Yucatán

Here is the packing list we have received from RAINFOREST and REEF:
* One duffel bag/suitcase to be checked in at airport and one carry-on bag
* t-shirts
* shirts-light-weight/long sleeve and short sleeved
* undergarments
* hiking shorts
* pants-light weight (jeans only for going out in the evenings)
* socks
* tennis shoes, flip flops, or sandals (tennis shoes recommended for hiking though)
* hat with visor for sun and rain protection
* rain gear
* windbreaker, sweat shirt, or sweater
* bandana
* swim wear
* small towel
* plastic garbage bag for laundry
* toiletries/ziplock bag
* medication/ziplock bag
* sunscreen, chapstick, insect repellent, afterbite for mosquito bites
* extra pair of prescription glasses/contacts
* small daypack for hikes
* plastic water bottle
* suglasses
* binoculars
* camera with waterproof camera bag
* mask, snorkel and fins (for the cenote)
* passport
* photocopy of passport
* driver's license or birth certificate copy (as extra form of i.d.)
* spending money (debit card/credit card or traveler's checks)
* journal
* books/cards/other reading material
